thoughts

I'm the sole survivor in my depart now with about 10+ people under me. Some in their 20s, 30s and 50s. Me in late 20s. I still remember when i first came out from my shell into working life. That time i used most of my time surfing the net cos i only needed to attend to a few requests from US and took only 15mins to complete all the requests? I didn't take the initiative to learn new things cos i was basically enjoying my life earning easy money :P Now i see the this exact patterns in some of younger my subordinates. Some of them are working really hard, some of them think that they're working in cybercafe. You know what i mean. Perhaps they don't even bother whether they get retrenched or not, perhaps they come from not bad family background who can support them financially if they're jobless. Perhaps they are just too young to realise the importance of money. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps..... Who am i to bother so much? As long as job get done & no complaints.
